The Black Stars who were chasing their fifth continental title suffered a defeat in their opening game against Morocco.

Milovan Rajevac and his charges were hoping to return to winning ways against Gabon in their second Group C game.

However, the team were held to a 1-1 drawn game.

Following the stalemate, Mr Okraku who the country's football governing head nicodemusly left the team behind in Yaounde with a game in hand.

According to Joy Sports' Muftawu Nabila Abdulai, Kurt Okraku was not in Cameroon for the Black Stars final game against Comoros but was rather Ghana.

Ghana were hammered 3-2 by debutants Comoros in their final group game to exit the tournament with just a point after three games.
