Vincent Sowah Odotei, an astute businessman who doubles as the acting Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak has revealed he used his own money to purchase some players currently in the team.

Odotei Sowah who previously held the post of stragetic committee chairman at the club before his appointment as acting MD in July this year, divulged to Boss FM that he has financially invested in the club as a sign of his love for the club.

"There are most of the Hearts of Oak players I signed with money from my own Pocket" Odotei Sowah said on Boss Fm.

The Politician has been under intense pressure lately as some supporters of the club embarked on an agenda to kick him out with claims he is destroying the Oak Family following his involvement in the sacking of former coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
