Slavko Matic's future will be decided soon - NCC chairman Elvis Herman Hesse

National Chapters Committee [NCC] Chairman, Elvis Herman Hesse says the future of Slavko Matic will be sorted out soon.

The Serbian has not been in the dugout since their 1-0 defeat against Great Olympics.

Ahead of their Super Clash against Asante Kotoko, Matic was prevented from having a training session with the playing body due to winless run.

Assistant coach, David Ocloo has been in the dugout for two games against Kotoko and Bibiani Gold Stars.

Speaking to Citi Sports, Herman Hesse disclosed the top hierarchy of the club and the supporters front will soon settle on a decision regarding Slavko Matics’ future.

“At the moment, Zlavko Matic has become an issue for the management and the Board of the Club," he said.

“We at the supporter’s level, we are waiting patiently on the Board and Management to communicate to us, because it is a contractual issue.

“I know for sure the Board is on the issue very well and very soon they will communicate to the National Chapters Committee and the general public.

“I wouldn’t have a lot to say about it, but I know for a fact that until the Board settles the differences or whatever it is with the Coach [Zlavko Matic], Assistant Coach David Ocloo will still continue with the team until either he Zlavko comes back or another Coach is appointed," he added. Hearts of Oak will host Kotoku Royals in the matchday 22 games of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
