Former Arsenaland Tottenhamcentre back Sol Campbell has compared Spurs Harry Kane to the 'best striker' he ever worked with.
Speakingto888 Sport, Campbell revealed that Teddy Sheringham was the number one forward he ever played alongside and said he sees similarities in the young England striker's game.
The best all-round striker I ever played with was probably Teddy Sheringham. Jurgen [Klinsmann] came close," Campbell said.
Teddy didn't have the running ability but he had time, could pass, and had intelligence; he was savvy. There are similarities between those two guys though Kane is more mobile. They have similar technique and in the type of goals that they score.
Kane hasn't played for Spurs since he sustained an ankle injury in the 1-0 home win over Sunderland on September 17. Since then, Tottenham have gone on an unwantedsix match winless run and will be keen to reintroduce Kane to their starting XI as soon as possible.
The former Arsenal youth teamer, was the top goalscorer in the Premier Leaguelast season, bagging25 goals as Spurs finished third.
The striker is being tipped toplay some part in theNorth London derby on Sunday but it seems unlikely Kane will start, as Pochettino is reluctant to rush his star performer.
