Ghanaian international Solomon Asante has earned massive praises from his Phoenix Rising FC manager Rick Schantz following his impressive showing throughout the regular season of the United Soccer League (USL).

The former TP Mazembe winger who was named captain for the side after the departure of Didier Drogba has led the team by example and has led them to the playoffs as they seek for promotion to the Major league Soccer (MLS)

Coach Rick Schantz has been impressed by the performance of the forward and has taken to his social media platform to laud Solomon Asante for his efforts.

In a Twitter post on Monday morning, the gaffer shared, “My Captain, I am fortunate to see his excellence every day. The most humble of leaders and a true professional. @Asante20Magic.”.

The Ghanaian forward finished the regular season by winning the golden boot award with 22 goals as well as setting the record for the most assists in a single season (17).

Besides that achievement, Asante also scooped a total of four awards at the gala night of Phoenix Rising FC which was organized to award top performing players of the regular season.
