Ghana forward Solomon Asante has been included in the USL Championship ‘Team of the Week’ after impressing for his Phoenix Rising FC outfit over the past weekend.
The pacey attacker remains the poster boy of his club and managed to put on another eye-catching show last Sunday when they visited the Cashman Field to take on Las Vegas Lights on Matchday 9.
What turned out to be a difficult match for the away team saw Solomon Asante assisting Rüfət Dadaşov for his team’s first goal of the match.
In the final minutes of the match, the Ghana international registered his name on the scoresheet as his team earned a 3-3 draw at the end of the 90 minutes.
Having earned a high rating of 8.9, Solomon Asante has now deservedly been named in the USL Championship ‘Team of the Week’ for Matchday 9.
