Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba has been named in coach Maxwell Konadu's squad to face Karela United in match week 13 of the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The 28-year-old has made a return to the team since being omitted after match-day eight following his decision not to extend his contract with the Porcupine Warriors, according to Oyerepa FM.
His current deal expires in April this year and has been linked with a move to several clubs including Ashanti Gold SC ahead of the second round of the league.
Yacouba joined Asante Kotoko in 2018 on a two-year deal and has since been a key cog of the team.
He scored two goals and provided five assists for Kotoko during their 2018 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Asante Kotoko are currently 4th on the league table with 21 points, just two points adrift leaders Medeama SC after 12 matches played thus far.
