Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba has been omitted from Asante Kotoko's squad to face Hearts of Oak in an Independence Anniversary match in London.
The friendly encounter - with mouthwatering prizes as stake - will take place at the famous Barnet Stadium in London at exactly 6:00pm on March 7, 2020.
Yacouba's contract with Kotoko will expire on the first of April and the two parties have failed to agree on a new contract extension.
The Executive Chairman of the club announced a few months ago that the 28-year-old will leave after his contract runs out.
As a result of the on-going contract issue, the club has decided to drop him from the squad to face their arch rivals in London next Month.
Yacouba has not featured for the club in the last seven Ghana Premier League games with coach Maxwell Konadu revealing that he will not call on the striker again until his contract situation is resolved.
