Southampton boss applauds ‘brilliant’ Kamaldeen Sulemana after Hull City win

The manager of Southampton Football Club, Russell Martin was impressed with the performance of Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana over the weekend during the game against Hull City.

The Saints played away to Hull in a Week 12 encounter of the 2023/24 English Championship season.

After a very exciting contest, Southampton did enough to secure a 2-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Speaking in a post-match interview, manager Russel Martin applauded Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, describing his performance as brilliant.

“I feel like we’re building and we’re growing something, we just need to keep doing it. The second goal is a very nice goal. The first one is good too, Kamaldeen with some individual brilliance and then Kyle [Walker-Peters] with some of the same,” the Southampton manager said.

In the game against Hull City, Kamaldeen Sulemana started for Southampton and played a key role for the team.

He was substituted in the second half and replaced by Samuel Edozie.
