Southampton will be heading off to Austria for pre-season training with defender Virgil van Dijk expected to be part of the travelling party, according to the Daily Echo.
Mauricio Pellegrino has started off his reign at Southampton recently and having put the players through their paces over the past week, the Argentine manager will be leading his team to Austria for a pre-season training camp.
A number of players who were involved in international duty over the past month are expected to be missing for the trip to Austria.
But want-away defender Virgil van Dijk has been listed to join the squad alongside the likes of Oriol Romeu and Shane Long.
