Ghanaian player Sowah Appiah has began pre season with his club side Anderlecht ahead of the start of the new European league season.
Sowah was very instrumental for the Belgian side in their domestic triumph as well as their fine showing in last year's Europa league.
The Ghanaian French player is among outfield players currently preparing for the seaso.
Olivier Deschacht, Andy Najar, Adrien Trebel, Dennis Appiah, Emmanuel Soah, Isaac Kiese Thelin, Silvère Ganvoula, Idrissa Doumbia and goalkeepers Mile Svilar and Davy Roef are the other players.
"There are players for whom last season has taken longer, so it's logical to start later," said coach Weiler said. "
"You always have a double feel on a day like this. On the one hand, it's a pity that the holiday is over, on the other hand, we're glad we can play again."
