Sparta Rotterdam to extend loan deal of Patrick Joosten for another season

Sparta Rotterdam is set to extend the loan deal of Patrick Joosten if there are no offers for the player at his parent club.

The highly-rated forward joined Sparta on a season-long loan deal from FC Utrecht at the beginning of the 2019/2020 Dutch Eredivisie season to ensure he gets to enjoy regular playing time.

Following a very successful campaign which was unfortunately halted by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease that informed the cancelation of the season, he is expected to re-join his parent club.

Meanwhile, Sparta Rotterdam is bent on keeping Patrick Joosten at the club for the next season due to his impressive display for the side in the recently ended season.

The 3 goals in 15 appearances from the Dutch international of Ghanaian descent have not gone unnoticed with Sparta ready to extend his loan deal for another season if there are no offers for him at FC Utrecht.
