Spartak Moscow owner Leonid Fedun is aware of Liverpool's interest in Quincy Promes.
But he remains confident the Holland international striker will stay for next season's Champions League campaign.
Fedun stated: "Liverpool? I know the financial possibilities of the clubs in the Premier League and there's no one who can beat that.
"But as far as I know, he burns with ambition to show himself in the Champions League. He will still help us next season."
Tied to Spartak until 2021, Promes has scored 11 goals in 25 league games for Spartak this season.
