Hearts of Oak defender Christopher Bonney is delighted after scoring and also registering an assist in the Phobians 2-1 win Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium in the NC Special Competition on Sunday.
Bonney put an impressive performance to help Hearts pick up all three points against his former club on matchday 11.
The right-back scored from the spot in the first half before providing an assist for the second goal scored by youngster Manaf Umar.
“Thank God for my goal and my assists against my former club,” he tweeted after the game.
Bonney has been a key cog for the Rainbow club since joining from Ebusua Dwarfs last season and has performed incredibly well.
Hearts victory means they are top Premier B with 22 points, one point above second side Karela United they face in their next outing at the Accra Sports Stadium.
