Special Competition: Hearts of Oak players given a day off following win over Ebusua Dwarfs

Hearts of Oak have been handed a day off after recording an impressive 2-1 away win over Ebusua Dwarfs in the NC Special Competition in Cape Coast on Sunday.

Albert Hammond put the home side in the lead just five minutes into the game before Christopher Bonney levelled from the spot after Joseph Esso was impeded in the box.

Bonney became a provider in the second half after his pass from the right evaded the defence of Dwarfs for Manaf Umar to lob over the goalkeeper as they picked up all three points in their matchday 11 fixture

As a result, the Hearts of Oak players have been given a day off from training and they will assemble at the Pobiman Grounds on Wednesday to prepare for their NC match-day 12 game against Karela at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Hearts of Oak are currently at the summit of Premier B table with 22 points after 11 games.
