Asante Kotoko head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has revealed that Burkina Faso international Sogne Yacouba is likely to miss their semi-final game against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the Normalisation Committee Special Competition at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Yacouba missed several training sessions with the team in Mampong, however, he resumed training with his teammates on Wednesday ahead of the crucial game in Acrra.

According to the former Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold trainer, the Burkinabe could be unavailable for the important game with the Phobians.

“I don’t think Sogne Yacouba can play the game between us and Hearts of Oak on Sunday,” Akonnor told Nhyira FM.

Many people believe the former Black Star skipper is playing mind games as he will unleash the dreaded Burkinabe striker on Sunday.
