Sporting Club de Portugal will decide on signing either Myron Boadu or Cyriel Dessers when the transfer window opens in January, checks by footballghana.com have revealed.

The Portuguese giants have only one striker in their current squad in the person of Luiz Phellype and are bent on bringing in another man to reduce the burden on the forward while strengthening their attacking line.

According to reports in Portugal, Sporting CP has identified Dutch-born Ghanaian international Myron Boadu as the preferred choice even though they are ready to also settle on Cyriel Dessers who has equally impressed in the ongoing Dutch Eredivisie season with Heracles Almelo.

Boadu who plays for AZ Alkmaar has been exceptional since the start of the season and has hit double figures in terms of goals for both club and country.

Sporting has reportedly sent scouts to watch the Ghanaian and will love to bring him to Portugal in the next transfer window.

To keep their options opened, they are understood to be also keeping tables on Belgian youngster Cyriel Dessers who has been a revelation for Heracles in the ongoing campaign.

Either of the two players could be in the Green and White stripes after January depending on how negations between the clubs go once the window is opened.
