Rumours says Cudjoe Fianoo and others  have been informed by the Minister to stop contesting and support  Amponsah who is Asiamah's candidate as the new Ghana FA President.

The minister has released a statement debunking the alleged involvement of the Ghana FA Presidential elections which will anger FIFA as the world governing body's laws strictly forbid government interference in the sport and could potentially lead to a ban.
