Spurs Boss Mauricio Pochettino Interested in Signing Lukaku's Brother Jordan

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jordan Lukaku, younger brother of Romelu, according toThe Sun.

Lukaku, who plays for Lazio as a left-back is being eyed as a potential back-up for first-choice Danny Rose with Ben Davies set to be axed. Davies, who moved to White Hart Lane in 2014 from Swansea City, has struggled to settle after playing second fiddle to Rose and speculation continues tolink him with a move to Chelsea.

Lukaku left KVOostende in Belgium to join Lazio last summer and has attracted interest from a number of potential suitors after a string of impressive performances. The 22-year-old featured for Belgium, alongside his brother, at Euro 2016.

He is known for being a full-back very much of the modern variety; attack-minded, quick and bearing striking similarities to the playing style of Rose.

Lukaku would cost Spurs around £10m, but that seems like a reasonable price for a young defender with plenty of potential that may ultimately offer Rose stiffer competition for a starting berth than Davies.

Armed with a rocket-launcher of a left-foot, Lukaku would be viewed as an exciting option for Pochettino, who is in the midst of building a genuine challenge for the Premier League title after extending the club's unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at West Brom on Saturday.

Spurs' next game is a tough away fixture to Bournemouth next Saturday lunchtime, the Cherries having just hit Hull for six in their latest encounter.
