The national Under-17 side of Ghana, Black Starlets paid a courtesy call on the Paramount chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area ahead of their Africa Under 17 qualifier against their Burkinabe counterparts.

The Starlets, scheduled to host young Stallions of Burkina Faso at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, decided to pay homage to the Oguaa Manhene Osaberima Kwesi Atta II as the custodian of the land set to host their big game.

The Ghanaians will need to record a good win on Sunday ahead of the second leg tie slated for Burkina in two weeks time in order to secure qualification for the final round of qualifiers.

Ghana missed out on the last edition of the Africa Under 17 tournament after a ban was imposed on them and will be hoping to make amends this time.
