Coach of Sekondi Hasaacas Yussif Basigi says he has not parted ways with his employers and remains the technical head of the Sekondi-based club.
In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Basigi explained that his absence was due to sickness contrary to media reports that he had parted ways his employers.
According to him, management gave him sometime off to recover while his assistant acts in that capacity.
There were reports last week that Coach Basigi had been shown the exit due to the team’s poor performance and the double role he was playing as the head coach of the senior national team,
However, the Coach insists that some group of people, who are envious of his exploits are behind the rumours.
“I don’t know what these people want from me but I know that they are jealous because they keep saying why is it that I am coaching Hasaacas and also in charge of the Queens?”, he querried.
