Stoke flop Imbula set for £10m Roma move

Published on: 10 May 2017

Stoke City will allow record-signing Giannelli Imbula to leave for AS Roma for £10m in the summer, according to The Telegraph.

The 24-year-old has failed to live up to the expectations after joining the Potters in a club-record deal of £18.3 million from Porto in January 2016.

This season, he has made just nine league starts for Mark Hughes' side, and it appears that his time at the club is over.

AS Roma are prepared to offer him a chance at redemption by signing him in the summer. The Potters are also keen on recouping whatever money they can and are prepared to sell the midfielder for £10m.
