French side racing Strasbourg has joined the chase for former Nantes striker Abdul Majeed Waris, club President Waldemar Kita and the leaders are ready to spend 5M € in hope to recruit 28- year- old Ghana international.
In September this year, Strasbourg coach Thierry Laurey revealed how he tried to bring Waris to the club on transfer deadline day.
The 28-year-old has not had play time at Portuguese side FC Porto since returning from a season-long loan at Nantes.
Waris netted five goals in 33 Ligue 1 games last season for the Canaries, he has also played for Valenciennes and Lorient in the French top-flight.
