Ghanaian international Gilbert Koomson was on target on Sunday but unfortunately, his SK Brann side lost 2-1 to Rosenborg in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

The two top-flight clubs locked horns in their pursuit of 3 points to boost their chances of a strong finish to the ongoing season.

Gilbert Koomson who has been in fine form for the home team was handed a starting role to try and help his team bag the maximum 3 points.

The 25-year-old did not disappoint as he displayed good form throughout his stay on the pitch. To complement his efforts, the forward registered his name on the scoresheet as well.

Sadly, 2 goals from Even Hovland and Carlo Holse ensured that Rosenborg cruised to a deserved win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Gilbert Koomson now has 2 goals after making 4 appearances for SK Bran this season. He remains a key man for his club and a lot will be expected moving forward.
