Ghana international Kevin Prince-Boateng climbed off the bench to score for Besiktas on Thursday night to help the team defeat Kasimpasa 3-2.

In what was a Matchday 31 fixture of the 2019/2020 Turkish Super Lig season, the game produced fireworks with a lot of goals and late drama at the Vodafone Park.

A good start to the game saw the home team taking the lead through Tyler Boyd on the 6th minute after he was assisted by Caner Erkin.

Later in the same half, Kasimpasa came in strong to score twice through Bengali Fode Koita. The brace from the attacker ensured that the away team went into the break with a lead.

Four minutes into the second half, KP Boateng who was introduced as a substitute on the 37th minute registered his name on the scoresheet to restore parity for Besiktas.

After a hard-fought battle between the two teams, it took a 90th-minute strike from Guven Yalcin to decide the game. The dramatic equalizer has handed Besiktas a win to enhance their chances of a top-four finish at the end of the season.

Since joining Besiktas on loan from Fiorentina in January, KP Boateng has made 10 appearances and now has 3 goals.
