Suspended Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari scored his 27th career goal in the Serie A on Sunday, March 12. Muntari, 32, netted a consolation for strugglers Pescara who were thrashed 3-1 by Agyemang Badu's Udinese at the Stadio Adriatico.

He intercepted a loose pass outside the penalty area and scuffed a feeble shot into the bottom far corner.

Muntari was on as a replacement for Valerio Verre in the 46th minute and the goal was his first in the Serie A since October 2014.

However, that goal did little to improve the lot of Pescara who at that point were trailing 3-0 courtesy strikes by Duvan Zapata, Jakub Jankto and Cyril Thereau.

Pescara - the fourth Serie A club Muntari is playing for in the Serie after stints with Udinese, Internazionale Milan and AC Milan - are still at the foot of the table with a paltry 12 points.
