English Championship side Sunderland FC has made an offer of £10 million plus a player to try and convince Swansea City to sell Andre Dede Ayew to them, reports in England has revealed.

The Ghanaian international is enjoying a very good campaign in the ongoing 2019/2020 English Championship season where he has established himself as one of the best players of the Swans and the league as well.

His outstanding display has attracted interest but he has in the weeks leading to the opening of the January transfer window assured fans of Swansea that he will stay until the end of the season.

In a recent development, it has been revealed that Sunderland has raised their interest in the Black Stars attacker and has made an offer of £10 million plus experienced forward Borini.

Though Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce refused to confirm the inclusion of the player in the deal, he has not denied the interest from his team in Ayew.

In a recent interview, the gaffer shared: “I can’t speculate on that. Me saying I’m willing to use Fabio would upset Fabio; me saying that Ayew is definitely someone I want for this club means that Swansea could say I have upset this player by saying that I actually want him.”

Meanwhile, Swansea manager Steve Cooper has time and again expressed that he wants Ayew to stay. It is very unlikely the Ghanaian will be allowed to move at this point in the window.
