Pitso Mosimane is confident that Mamelodi Sundowns will be able to score vital away goals when they take on CAF Confederation Cup opponents, Medeama FC, in the return leg in Ghana.

Sundowns secured a 3-1 victory after falling a goal behind early in the game at home and Mosimane admitted that conceding the away goal was not ideal.

“It's always good that you should not concede at home when you play in Africa,” he pressmen after the game.

However, Mosimane was impressed with his team’s performance nonetheless and is sure that they will be able to score away goals and secure qualification for the group stages of the tournament.

“But if you look at the way we played we have shown that we can fight until the end and that means we can score away.

"We just need to go to Ghana and score to unsettle our opponents and qualify for the group stages," Mosimane explained".

Sundowns will travel to the Essipong Stadium in Ghana for the return leg on Wednesday, May 18 at 6:00pm.
