SuperSport United confirm they won’t sign Ashantigold striker Safiu Mumuni

South Africa Premier Soccer (PSL) League side, SuperSport United have confirmed that they will not be signing Ashanti Gold striker Safiu Mumuni in the current transfer window.

The prolific goal scorer went for a trail with the side for two weeks but returned to Ghana with uncertainty as far as a transfer to the club is concerned.

Speaking in an interview with KickOff.com, SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo has confirmed he will not sign the Ghanaian.

“We are not signing him, he has left”, the gaffer said.

Meanwhile, Safiu Mumuni has been registered for Ashgold’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign and is expected to lead the lines for the Miners when they start off the campaign in the competition over the weekend.

The Ghana Premier League side will travel to Ethiopia to play as guest tp Akonangui FC.
