The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has congratulated Miss Evelyn Nsiah Asare over her addition to the board of directors for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club (SC).
Yesterday, a press statement from the Manhyia Palace announced that the owner and Life Patron of the club, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has formed a new board for the club.
Among members of the board of directors, Miss Evelyn Nsiah Asare is one of them. Her appointment comes on the back of her hard work as the acting head of sport as the Sunyani Technical University (STU) as well as her contribution to women's football in the country.
Recognizing her appointment, SWAG says they salute her. A post on the Twitter page of the body said: “The Sports Writers' Association of Ghana (SWAG), Salute you Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare on the occasion of your appointment as a board member of Asante Kotoko S.C”.
