President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, Kwabena Yeboah has indicated that the disjointed front between the Ghana Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports over the payment of the technical team salaries will affect Kwesi Appiah.

The technical team that has been paid now had to wait for months for the FA and the ministry to settles issues with regards to their salaries.

The host of the Famous Sports Highlights show on GTV says if the impasse between the two entities is not settled it will affect performance of head coach Kwesi Appiah.

“Black Stars is the biggest brand and if we are not careful the troubles within the ministry and the FA will affect the Team and the whole technical staff especially Kwesi Appiah because things will not go smooth for him,” Yeboah indicated.

“The GNPC money which cushion the Black Stars has now been diverted to the Youth and Sports Ministry and for the past three months the coach and his technical staff have not been paid,”

“Other things such as accommodation and vehicle have not been provided for the coach which is not good and will go a long way to affect his work. All these problems can be solved if the FA and ministry have a united front”

Coach KwesiAppiah was reappointed in May after the departure of Israeli Avram Grant.
