Swansea boss Paul Clement has warned his star player Gylfi Sigurdsson against any summer move by reminding him about his failed Tottenham spell.
The Iceland international, who has scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in the league this season, spent two uneventful seasons with Spurs before joining the Welsh side in 2014.
According to recent reports, the likes of Everton and West Ham want to sign him this summer.
However, Clement has a word of caution for the 27-year-old: "He has a lot of ambition and I can understand that. But it didn't work out for him at Tottenham.
"He cannot have another situation like he had there.
"He doesn't want to go somewhere else and find he is in and out of the side."
