Swansea City star, Andre Ayew is expected to return from his injury to feature for the team against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Championship.
During the international break, the highly-rated forward featured for the Ghana senior national team and netted a brace to hand the side a win against Sudan at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Subsequently in the run-up to the reverse fixture, Andre Ayew picked up an injury and had to fly back to Wales to link up with the Swansea team.
On Saturday afternoon, the injured player watched from the stands when his team defeated Rotherham 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
Ahead of the team’s encounter against Sheffield Wednesday, Andre Ayew is now in line to make a return.
“We're missing players, unfortunately through no fault of our own, which is always frustrating.
“Andre and Marc picked up some muscle niggles on international duty, which is obviously frustrating because they were done in training, which shouldn't really happen, but they have,” Swansea manager Steve Cooper said after the win.
According to sources, Andre Ayew should be fit enough to play on Wednesday.
