Switzerland: Asumah Abubakar scores hat-trick in FC Kriens league win over FC Aarau

Ghanaian forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah showed his incredible eye for goal by scoring a hat-trick for C Kriens as they clinched a 4-1 win over FC Aarau in the Swiss League Challenge.

The U21 player missed a penalty in his side's last outing but managed to redeem himself with three goals in one match.

He only needed seven minutes to make his presence known, breaking the deadlock for Kriens.

The former Corners Babies made it two in the 16th minute, giving his side a needed cushion early on.

Elsad Zverotic brought Aurau back into the game with his strike coming in the 28th minute. Abubakar, however, had other ideas.

The Portuguese-born Ghanaian secured his hat-trick for the hosts just six minutes later. Igor Tadic put the game beyond doubt for Kriens.

Asumah has now scored 13 goals and dished out five assists for Kriens this season. Kriens are currently fourth on the Swiss League Challenge table.
