Congolese giants Tout Puissant Mezembe have thanked Ghanaian duo of Solomon Asante and Yaw Frimpong for their  services to the club.

Meanwhile, Yaw Frimpong parted ways with Mezembe on Tuesday after helping the club successfully defend the CAF Confederations Cup. He joined from Kotoko four seasons ago.

The club released a statement thanking the pair for their services which spans almost half a decade.

“The two Ghanaian internationals have greatly helped the team reach its goals in the national league, the CAF Cup and also in the Champions League.

“The TPM would like to thank these great champions and wish them the best for the rest of their careers,” the club said.

Meanwhile, few months ago compatriot Daniel Nii Adjei, who scored the winner as Mezembe won the Confederations Cup left to look for a club elsewhere.

Following the departure of Yaw Frimpong from the club, it means there are no more Ghanaians at Mezembe. However, Yaw Frimpong is likely to join Phoenix Rising according to reports.

He is likely to reunite with former Coach Patrice Cateron and compatriots Gladson Awako and Solomon Asante.
