Take lessons from how South Africans are backing their FA, national team – Sannie Daara to Ghanaians

Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara is urging Ghanaians to take lessons from how South Africans are backing their FA and the national team following the defeat to the Black Stars.

In the aftermath of the Black Stars’ 1-0 win over the Bafana Bafana to qualify for the final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, South Africans have come together and with a common voice, SAFA has filed an official complaint to FIFA.

According to Sannie Daara, this should be a lesson to Ghanaians who are fond of blasting the GFA and the Black Stars when things don’t go well.

“Dear colleagues, I hope you are observing what is happening in South Africa at this moment.

“You have to note how strongly they back their country and federation when it comes to issues for their country or national teams.

“These are big lessons for those of us who are harsh towards the GFA or the Black Stars,” Sannie Daara has said in a statement:

Dear colleagues, I hope you are observing what is happening in South Africa at this moment.

You have to note how strongly they back their country and federation when it comes to issues for their country or national teams.

These are big lessons for those of us who are harsh towards the GFA or the Black Stars.

Yesterday I endured insults from some of the top South African journos who are my friends because of the match.

We are busy selling out our souls to claiming we are being fair. Lets take some lessons from this.

Very deep
