Talent Tavern: Ghanaian youngster Philip Yeboah scores as Hellas Verona beat Udinese in Italy's Primavera division

Two young Ghanaian talents, Philip  Yeboah and Ahmed Awua were in action over the weekend as Italy's U19 youth league resumed after a two months hiatus due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Italy.

Striker Philip Yeboah, was on the scoresheet for Hellas Verona last Saturday as they defeated Udinese 2-0 on the road in Italy's Primavera division.

Yeboah found the net in the 51st minute when teammate Gresele found him in the 18 yard box after working his through the right channel of attack. Philip showed good balance and composure to score.

This is Yeboah's first goal of his campaign and his second appearance for the Primavera side after dealing with a minor injurie at the beginning of his campaign. He, however, made his Serie A debut for the first team against Fiorentina in December.

In the other match, midfielder Ahmed Awua was introduced in the 87th minute in the game involving as Cremonese and Parma. Awua's Parma suffered a 2-0 defeat to the home side, Cremonese.

Awua has been involved in all five matches in the Primavera so far this season.
