Tamale City have been relegated as they ended their debut Ghana Premier League campaign on a losing note.

The Premier League debutants suffered a heartbreak after failing to negotiate for points against Medeama on Sunday at the Akoon Park.
The Yellow and Mauves needed just a point to win the league title but showed no mercy as they inflicted a heavy 3-0 win over Tamale City which resulted to their demotion on final day.

Tamale City finished 16th position with 42 points, winning 10 wins, drawing 12 and losing 12 in the process.
The Tamale-based club will head back to the Division One League when the next season campaign gets underway.
