Tamimu Issah resigns as GFA acting communications director

Longtime serving communication member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Tamimu Issah has confirmed that he has tendered in his resignation.

Tamimu who has served the Ghana FA for the past 14 years was named as the acting communications director for the body when Kurt Okraku and his executive council members assumed office.

With reports suggesting that the GFA is set to announce the appointment of Henry Asante Twum as it's communications director, Tamimu Issah has resigned from his post. Though he has not stated that is the cause, it is being speculated that it was a factor.

"I have just tendered in my letter of resignation to the General Secretary of the GFA via email. It has been 14 years of committed service to the Ghana Football Association"

"Always give thanks to Allah in every situation of life. Alhamdulilah", Tamimu Issah posted on his Facebook page.

Footballghana.com checks have revealed that Henry Asante Twum will be confirmed as the new GFA communication director in the next 24 hours.
