Techiman City receives $5000 from fans

Supporters of Ghana Premier League new boys Techiman City, in Calgary Canada, led by former footballer Nketsiah Yawson and Amo Appiah have donated equipments worth $3000 to the club after a brief meeting with the club's president Charles Kwadwo Ntim aka Micky Charles.

Also, supporters in Worcester Massachusetts, USA, led by Yaw Sam donated equipments worth $1,500 and have pledged to do more in the coming days, while former Asante Kotoko and BA United striker Asamoah Arhin also donated equipments worth $500.

Micky Charles was full of praise after receiving the equipments and believe it will help the Atamfo ɛnyɛ Nyame lads in diverse ways this season.

"Techiman City is very grateful to our selfless supporters in Canada and USA. They've shown their support to the club through cash and kind," Ntim said.

"It's our aim to make them loud and proud by maintaining our premier league status at the end of the season.

"The next destination to visit is Netherlands, United kingdom, Italy and Spain. We're meeting the people from Techiman in the diaspora, with the aim of getting them closer to the club and to feel at home. It's their own and with their help, those Ghana will continue to enjoy premier league action every weekend," he added.
