Techiman City's relegation is in the right direction-Takyi Arhin

Controversial football administrator Takyi Arhin says relegated Techiman City deserves to go down.

The Techiman based side could not secure their premiership status after finishing in the bottom three after this seasons league.

The team's promotion was highly contested with some suggesting they engaged in match fixing.

"I am not surprised they have been relegated because I said it before the end of the season," he said.

“With no doubt, Techiman City stared on very good note because they were able to get all their three points in their home matches but playing away was a bit difficult for them and at a point in time I saw they were swollen headed as well.

“I should have supported the team but the problem was that the person leading the team has no good intentions and he is not ready to listen to any divergent views meanwhile they came from the back door to play the league and it affected their preparations as well so seeing them relegated, I am not surprised.

Takyi Arhin also showered praises on history makers Wa All Stars for clinching the Ghana Premier League in ground style.

“Nobody should discredit Wa All Stars for clinching the Premier League title. They have fought very hard and their hard work has earned them the trophy.

“People want to throw dust into their party but we will not understand that. Aduana Stars should not complain that they were robbed because they lost to Wa All Stars by a lone goal to nothing in the first round so let all applauds them because they deserve to be the champions.” He added.
