Tema Youth Coach Edward Nii Odoom insists he is happy to be nominated for the Coach of the month for June and he is optimistic of winning the accolade.
Coach Odoom will be competing for with WAFA’s Klavs Rasmussen and Ashantigold’s Charles Kwabena Akunor.
The Tema Youth Coach led his side to two victories and two draws in the month of June accumulating 8 points. The Harbour boys recorded the biggest away victory in the month when they thrashed Olympics 4-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The veteran tactician who was speaking on local radio station Happy FM was confident of winning the NASCO Coach for the month of June.
“It’s very encouraging and a good achievement that I’ve been nominated for this award and I will be happy if I emerge the ultimate winner,” Nii Odoom told Happy FM.
“Having said that, I will not be bothered if I miss out on it but per the work I’ve put in during that period up until now, I believe I’ll be a deserving winner.”
The Tema based side are 11th on the League table and will next face Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday in the Match Day 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
