Owusu's contract is set to expire at the end of June, signaling the end of his three-year tenure with the team.

The 26-year-old right-back joined Willem II Tilburg in 2020 after making a move from De Graafschap. Throughout his stint, Owusu established himself as an important figure within the squad.

During the recently concluded 2022/23 season, Owusu played a vital role in Willem II Tilburg's endeavor to secure a return to the Dutch Eredivisie.

However, despite his efforts, the team fell short of their objective. In the playoffs, they faced Venlo in a two-legged game and, unfortunately, were defeated on penalties at the end of May.

Having featured in 38 games in the Dutch second tier, Owusu scored two goals and providing six assists.

Over the course of the last three years, Leeroy Owusu has accumulated an impressive record of 102 appearances for Willem II Tilburg.
