The American Dream! Antoine Griezmann Reveals Desire to Play Under David Beckham in Miami

Antoine Griezmann has expressed his desire to play under David Beckham in the US one day - and also cited Olympic sprinting legend Usain Bolt as the ideal man for current club Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman told that he wants to play for his idol Beckham, who is establishing his MLS franchise in Florida.

The 25-year-old said: "I love the States. I want to have an NBA season ticket, and go and watch each game with my children. I already see myself there.

"I don't know which city yet, but why not in Beckham's franchise in Miami. It would be the best to play under Beckham."

Euro 2016's top scorer is approaching his prime, and is one of Europe's top strikers, meaning any move stateside for the moment would be out of the question.

Hehas been named as France's 'Footballer of the Year' for the first time, and recentlyplaced third in the prestigiousBallon d'Or rankings behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Henudged out the likes of Luis Suarez and Neymar,highlightingthe player's meteoric rise tostardom in world football.

For speedster Griezmann, there was no hiding hisexcitability about fellow Puma representativeBolt, who is knownfor being akeen football fan and has even trained with Borussia Dortmund recently.

The Jamaican icon, who completed the 'triple-triple' at last summer's Olympics in Rio, is held in high regard by Griezmann, who said: "Play against him, no, but play with him, yes! I would like him to play up front with me just behind to knock balls deep for him.

"I'd leave him all alone with the goalkeeper. I saw that he's trained a bit with Dortmund and Manchester United.

"Speed isn't everything, but he's be a great striker at Atletico. Usain would be perfect for our game. Me behind and him up front - the best!"

Griezmann's views, however, are unlikely to be shared by football experts, but fans can certainlydream.
