The GFA is trying its best with limited resources- Ameenu Shardow

Ameenu Shardow, the Dreams FC administrative manager, stated that the Ghana Football Association, led by Kurt Okraku, is making a considerable effort to share the limited COVID-19 relief fund to many stakeholders.

GFA received a total of $1.8 million from FIFA and CAF in a bid to shield themselves during the pandemic. $270,000 of those funds were allocated to Ghana Premier League clubs and the rest were shared among many other stakeholders.

Shardow has praised the effort of the association on that front.

“For me personally and honestly, I have looked at the allocation sheet and if we are going to go by the FIFA directive that this money should go to the benefit of some people rather than football fraternity," he told Nathaniel Attoh on the Joy Sports Link.

He added: "I think the GFA has done its bid in trying to ensure that at least these limited resources reaches as many stakeholders as possible.”
