Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah has stated that the project brought out by USA inspired his to snub Ghana.
The 18-year-old was eligible to play for England, USA or Ghana and he chose to represent USA.
In an interview with CBS Sports, Musah explained the thought process behind his big decision.
“It was a mixture of things.
“I’m really into the project we have of building this team, this new identity and trying to change the view of American soccer in the world.
“That really inspired me and was one of the things I really wanted to be involved in.”
