‘There are no issues’ – Coach Maxwell Konadu confirms impasse with Kotoko have been resolved

Former Asante Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu has confirmed that his issues with the club have been resolved.

The gaffer in the last few months has been involved in a legal tussle with the Porcupine Warriors outfit after dragging them to the Ghana FA Players and Coaches Status Committee to demand unpaid severance packed.

While he chased the club to settle his residual salary in the region of $100,000, a sign-on fee of GH¢30,000, and GH¢2,000 in outstanding bonuses, Asante Kotoko also appealed while stressing that they will only pay $13,500.

After the matter started to blow out of hand, the club’s supporters group stepped in and have now according to coach Maxwell Konadu resolved the issue peacefully.

“Amicably, yes there are no issues again because the leadership of the supporters came in to resolve the problem," the gaffer told the Daily Graphic Online on Wednesday.

It is understood that the supporters' group of Asante Kotoko have decided to pay GH¢160,300 to coach Maxwell Konadu with the club also expected to top up with a sum of GH¢80,500.
