There has been no approach from Hearts for Justice Blay – Medeama spokesperson

The Communications Director for Medeama Sporting Club, Patrick Akoto has indicated that there has been no approach from Hearts of Oak for the signing of Justice Blay.

In the last 12 hours, there have been reports suggesting that the Phobians are making a shock move for the highly-rated midfielder to give them a squad boost ahead of the next football season.

Responding to those speculations, Patrick Akoto who speaks for Medeama SC has stressed that there have been no offers from Hearts of Oak.

"We have been asked this question a number of times and I can confirm there has been no approach from Hearts”, he said as quoted by ghanasoccernet.com.

The Medeama SC Communications Director continued, “Hearts is a professional club and know what to do if they are interested.

“Any approach would need to be done by the rules. But as we speak there is absolutely nothing like that from Hearts of Oak”.

Justice Blay who spent the past year on loan at Asante Kotoko is currently back at his parent club.

There is strong interest from the Porcupine Warriors for his permanent signing. However, a self-imposed ban on the club could see Blay staying put with the Tarkwa-based team.
