The Black Stars lost 2-1 to the Super Eagles last Friday in an international friendly match played in Morocco.

Although the Black Stars had to finish the game with 10 men, they played some fine football.

According to coach Otto Addo, he picked a lot of positives in that friendly match.

“We didn’t win a game, so this is the summary which is bad. I think we can see the first match; even though we lost you could see that there were a lot of positive things especially in the second half with ten men, playing good football, having good movements, well positioned against a strong Nigerian team with a lot of young players,” Coach Otto Addo said.

The Black Stars coach continued, “The second match was more difficult for us. I know that if you want to build something, especially like having more possession, playing out from the back, there will be mistakes and with mistakes sometimes comes out of a little bit of fear to make mistakes so we have to get over it.”

After the two friendlies in March, Ghana will not be in action until June when the Black Stars assemble for the next round of games in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
