The owner and bankroller of Elmina Sharks, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has bemoaned the position of the club on the Ghana Premier League table as he admits things are not going well.

The club is currently 17th on the Ghana Premier League table and could be one of the three clubs that will be demoted to the National Division One League at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

Speaking to Ahomka FM in an interview, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has expressed concern although he remains optimistic about the team’s chances to survive the drop.

“The fearsome sharks, where the team is on the league table now is not good at all. I follow the team and I watch the matches that I am able to watch. I know everything that is going on. Things are not well at all,” the Elmina Sharks owner shared.

Next weekend, Elmina Sharks will host Legon Cities FC in the last but one match of the Ghana Premier League season.

The team needs to win to keep hopes of escaping relegation alive.
